    Impact of settlement holiday on August 26, 2026 (Id-E-Milad)

    August 26, 2026, is a settlement holiday on account of Id-E-Milad. On account of this, selling of stocks purchased under Pay Later (MTF - Margin Trading Facility) will not be available on the dates mentioned in the table below.

    Please note: Stocks bought in Delivery on August 25 & 26, 2026 will be allowed to sell on August 26 & 27, 2026. There will be no restriction in Delivery BTST trades.

    Here's what it means for your trades:

     

    • All trades placed on August 25 & 26, 2026 in the Equity and Derivative segment will be settled on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
    • All shares bought in MTF on August 25 & 26, 2026 will be visible under MTF positions but you will only be able to sell them on or after Friday, August 28, 2026.
