What are Mid-cap ETFs?

Mid-cap ETFs is an exchange-traded fund that invest in a basket of mid-sized companies ranked between 101st and 250th by market capitalization.

These companies have crossed their early growth stage but they are smaller than large cap companies. Some may have the potential to grow over the long-term and move into the large cap category.

Like other ETFs, mid-cap ETFs are passively managed and hold the same constituents as the underlying index they track. This gives investors a low-cost, transparent and diversified way to participate in India’s mid-cap segment without having to research and select individual mid-cap stocks.
