There are 3 methods through which you can create your password online: -

Method 1:-

To get your password instantly through OTP, please follow these instructions:

Through Website: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Login page and select “Get Password”.

Step 2: Input your User ID and PAN, then enter the CAPTCHA.

Step 3: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile and email.

Step 4: Create your new password and save.

Through Mobile App: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Mobile app and select “Forgot Password”.

Step 2: Input your User ID, Date of Birth and PAN, then enter the CAPTCHA.

Step 3: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile and email.

Step 4: Create your new password and save.

Method 02: -

A. Reset password through Internet Banking

Through Website: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Login page and select “Get password”.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and click on “Get via Bank Account”.

Step 3: Enter your ICICI Bank account number and select the Internet Banking option.

Step 4: Log in using your ICICI Bank Internet Banking User ID and Password.

Step 5: Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the password reset page to create your new password for ICICI Direct Account.

Through Mobile App: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Mobile App and select “Forgot password”.

Step 2: Click on Online password through Bank account.

Step 3: Enter your ICICI Bank account number and select the Internet Banking option.

Step 4: Log in using your ICICI Bank Internet Banking User ID and Password.

Step 5: Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the password reset page to create your new password for ICICI Direct Account.

B. Reset password using Debit card Grid

Through Website: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Login page and select “Get password”.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and click on “Get via Bank Account.”

Step 3: Select the Debit Card Grid option, then enter your ICICI Bank account and debit card numbers.

Step 4: Input the specific Grid Values found on the back of your Debit Card.

Step 5: Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the password reset page to create your password.

Through Mobile App: -

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Mobile App and select “Forgot password”.

Step 2: Click on Online password through Bank account.

Step 3: Select the Debit Card Grid option, then enter your ICICI Bank account and debit card numbers.

Step 4: Input the specific Grid Values found on the back of your Debit Card.

Step 5: Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the password reset page to create your password.

Method 03:-  

Get Physical Password

If you no longer have access to your registered mobile number or email address, you can request a physical password to be delivered to your registered home address by following the steps below.

Through Website: -

Step 1: Go to ICICI Direct Login page, and click “Get Password”.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “Physical Password” option.

Step 3: Provide your User ID and PAN Number as prompted.

Step 4: Review your registered address for accuracy.

Step 5: Once requested, your new password will be delivered via post within 4 to 6 working days.

Through Mobile App: -

Step 1: Go to ICICI Direct Mobile App, and click “Forgot Password”.

Step 2: Click on Password at your doorstep.

Step 3: Provide your User ID, Date of Birth and PAN Number as prompted.

Step 4: Review your registered address for accuracy.

Step 5: Once requested, your new password will be delivered via post within 4 to 6 working days.

Important Note: The password will be sent only to the address currently registered with ICICI Direct. Please ensure your registered address is up to date before proceeding.
