Your ICICI Direct account will be automatically locked for security reasons if incorrect login credentials (User ID or Password/PIN) are entered five consecutive times.

Follow the steps below to unlock your account instantly.

Through website:

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Login page.

Step 2: If your account is locked, an "Unlock Account" link will appear at the bottom of the login screen. Click it to proceed.

Step 3: Provide your User ID and PAN Number to generate a One-Time Password (OTP).

Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and Email.

Step 5: Once the OTP is verified, your account will be unlocked instantly.

Through Mobile App:

Step 1: Go to the ICICI Direct Mobile App.

Step 2: If your account is locked, an "Unlock Account" link will appear at the bottom of the login screen. Click it to proceed. Or click on forgot password and go to unlock account.

Step 3: Provide your User ID, Date of Birth and PAN Number.

Step 4: Click on unlock account and your account will be unlocked instantly.

Alternate methods to unlock your account:

a. Password Reset: Alternatively, you can reset your password, which will also automatically unlock your account.

b. Auto-Unlock: If you do not manually unlock your account, it will automatically unlock post 12 am.
