Supertrend Indicator Strategy
Have you ever faced this dilemma, you've screened a nice stock but you don't know when to buy or you've been holding on to the stock for a while but you can't figure out when to sell. Then you definitely need to use this technical analysis tool called Supertrend.
With Supertrend you can identify trends and possibly buy and sell signals. This indicator works best when the markets are either moving up or down and it can be used on various time frames, from short-term intraday trading to long-term investing.
This is how you can use Supertrend indicator on any of the stocks in your watch list. Basically, it plots a line on the price chart which acts as a dynamic level of support or resistance. This can help you identify entry and exit points. When the price is above this line the market is considered to be trending upwards signal ling a buying opportunity.
Conversely when the price is below the line the market is trending downwards, indicating a sell opportunity. A change in the Supertrend line from below to above the asset price or vice versa might signal a trend reversal. This opportunity could be used to take long or short positions.
To use this indicator, follow these steps:
- Go to my watch list, under the watch list tab choose your desired stock or index.
- Here you can see the chart of this stock on the right. Then click on “fx” to add the indicator.
Type Supertrend and click on it and that's all.

Bullish harami candlestick pattern explained
Hello everybody, we'll be talking about a candlestick pattern known as harami patterns. Harami candlestick patterns are of two types bearish and bullish. These candlestick patterns are used by traders and technical analysts to find a potential price reversal trend in the market. Harami candlestick patterns are a part of two candlestick pattern in the technical analysis theory, where the first candle and the second candle have two different colours.
There are two types of harami patterns. The first is known as the bullish harami pattern, second is known as the bearish harami pattern. Let us talk about bullish harami pattern. Bullish harami pattern occurs during a downtrend and suggests a potential reversal to the upside as we have spoken earlier it consists of two candlesticks.
The first candlestick is a large red bearish candlestick that reflects a prevailing downtrend. The second candlestick is a green candlestick whose body is completely engulfed inside that red candlestick. Also keep in mind, bullish harami always happens at the end of a downtrend. So, whenever you're looking for a bullish harami candle always spot it at the end of a downtrend and not anywhere else.

How is VWAP Used in Trading
When your computer is not loading and it just keeps lagging, don't you think it indicates something, that may be your network connection may be weak, maybe it's raining too much, or maybe the servers are slow.
What does that tell us? That even a lag can be an indicator. In finance a lagging indicator is a sign that becomes apparent only after a large shift has taken place. They cannot predict trends, but they can be used to confirm long-term trends.
Volume weighted average or VWAP price is such a lagging indicator. VWAP calculates the average price at which a security has traded throughout the specific period taking into account both price and volume. And how do traders use it, well they use it to assess the fairness of their trades relative to the prevailing market conditions. The VWAP formula is calculated by multiplying the price of each trade by its corresponding volume, summing up these values and dividing the total by cumulative volume. VWAP is typically calculated for a specific trading day or specific session within a day.
How does it work?
Traders compare the current price of a security to its VWAP to gauge whether they are buying above or below the average price. If the current price is above VWAP it may suggest bullishness while a price below VWAP may indicate bearishness. Traders often use VWAP as a reference point for executing trades with the aim of achieving a price close to the average.
