    ICICI Direct NRI Account

    What is the Address updation process for NRI ?

    Step 1: Get the Forms

    Form -  https://mailcontent.icicidirect.com/mailcontent/Change in Address_For Individuals_new.pdf

    Step 2: Fill the Application Form

    1. Enter the Date, DP ID and Client ID
    2. All account holders must sign, and each signature must match the specimen on DPsecure

    Step 3: Fill the KYC Form

    1. Fill in English and BLOCK LETTERS
    2. Section A (Identity): Gender, Marital Status, DOB, Nationality, Status (tick Non-Resident) and PAN are mandatory
    3. Affix a photograph with your cross signature
    4. Section B (Communication address): enter your overseas address and attach any one OVD or latest Deemed OVD
    5. Section B (Permanent address): write "SAME AS ABOVE" if identical, otherwise give the full address and attach an OVD
    6. Enter your mobile number and email ID, unless already updated at CVL KRA and in your demat account
    7. Sign the Declaration with Place and Date

    Step 4: Branch Verification

    1. Carry your original documents. Copies must be self-certified or attested
    2. The branch official verifies the originals and completes the in-person verification
    3. The official adds name, Employee ID, designation, signature, date and the required stamps on both forms

    Documents Accepted

    • OVD: Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, NREGA Card
    • Deemed OVD (Communication address only): Telephone bill, Electricity bill, Gas bill, Bank account statement/passbook. Must be the latest, not older than 2 months

    Important Notes:

    • A Deemed OVD is accepted for the Communication address only. The Permanent address needs an OVD
    • Incomplete forms, missing signatures or missing stamps may delay the update
