The funds can be transferred from ICICI/IDFC/Other Bank.
1. Transfer Funds from ICICI Bank
Online Mode: This will redirect to ICICI Internet banking portal for online remittance
Offline Mode: Update the details and download pre-filled LRS form and submit it to your nearest Forex enabled ICICI Bank branch.

2. Transfer Funds from IDFC Bank
Online Mode: This will redirect to IDFC Internet Banking portal
Offline Mode: Update the details and download pre-filled LRS form and submit it to your nearest Forex enabled IDFC Bank branch.

3. Transfer Funds from Other Bank
Online Mode: This will provide beneficiary details for you to initiate online fund transfer from other banks.
Offline Mode: Update the details and download a sample pre-filled LRS form to fill an LRS form in any other bank.

(II) Non- Residents: The ICICIdirect Global Account can be funded from any bank account. The client is requested to follow 2 steps:

1. Transfer funds from ICICI NRE/NRO/FCNR account
Online Mode: Steps to transfer funds from ICICI NRE/NRO/FCNR account.
• Login to ICICI Bank Internet Banking
• Click on ‘Funds Transfer’ option under ‘Payments & Transfer’
• Select ‘Overseas account using Money2World’
• Select ‘Repatriation from NRE/NRO/FCNR via Wire Transfer’
• Click on ‘Add receiver’ and add below beneficiary details and save.

• Once the beneficiary has been added, on the Money2world page, select ‘Choose Currencies for Transfer’ and then select ‘Transfer Money’.
• Select the currency ‘USD’ and enter the amount to be transferred in USD.
• Enter the Grid details from your Debit card and the OTP received on your mobile number to confirm the transaction.

Offline Mode: You may walk into any ICICI Bank Branch and initiate the outward remittance by filling up a simple request letter specifying the necessary details.
Note: From an NRO account, you can remit up to USD 1million in a financial year, while there is no limit when remitting from clients NRE account.
