News: Astra Microwave has executed a Transfer of Technology (ToT) agreement with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) and Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) to utilize the know how relating to MiniSAR: X band Airborne SAR.
Views: We believe that SAR radar development presents a sizable opportunity for Astra Microwave in terms of future orders from the domestic and exports side, considering its use in upcoming big global mission (NISAR) for earth observation. Order backlog is estimated at ~Rs 1600 crore (~2x TTM revenues). With the Indian space ecosystem opening up for the private sector, we believe that the company would benefit significantly from upcoming opportunities in space based radars and other electronic components/sub-systems.
