News: NMDC reported steady volume prints for November 2024. Production volume grew by 17% YoY at 4.5 million tons (MT) with cumulative production in FY25 on YTD basis reaching to 26.1 MT (down 5% YoY). Furthermore, sales volume stood at 4 MT (up by 6% YoY) and 27.8 MT (flat YoY), respectively.
Views: The steady growth in sales volumes for the month indicates a slow but steady recovery in demand. We maintain a positive stance on the company, considering the favourable iron ore demand, ambitious capacity expansion initiatives of reaching 100 MT by 2030, cash-rich B/S and healthy ROCE profile.
