MAHARASHTRA GOVERNMENT CLEARS MUMBAI-AHMEDABAD BULLET TRAIN PROJECT
LT - 3887 Change: 27.10 (0.70 %)News: Maharashtra deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, on Thursday announced that all clearances have been given for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train in the state. The 508-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed corridor is being built at an estimated cost of Rs 1.1 trillion and will have 12 stations in Maharashtra and Gujarat, as per PTI. About 1. 2 hectares of land in Palghar has been handed over in the last week, which was earlier stuck for months. As per the latest plan, a trial run between Vapi-Sabarmati is likely to be done in 2026 and the Gujarat portion of the project may be operational in 2027.
Views: L&T has received multiple contacts to executing civil viaduct and station packages C4, C5, and C6 as well as special steel bridges packages P4(X) and P4(Y) and the building of 116 route km of high-speed ballastless trackworks for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project. Now, this project is on fast track, execution will pick up. it will positively impact L&T .
