News: Tata Motors has bagged 1,500 e-bus order from DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) under the broader ambit of CESL tender (already decalred as L1 bidder). Tata Motors will supply and maintain air-conditioned 12m e-bus for 12 years as per contract in exchange for per km running fees.
Views: The industry is witnessing good momentum in E-Bus procurement space with Tata motors leading the charge. Tata Motors in last concall guided that these tenders are profitable at given rates and it would generate healthy margins/ RoI over the life of the contract period.
