Commercial Services company TeamLease Services announced Q1FY27 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Total Income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 3,056.20 crore, representing a growth of 6.04% YoY compared to Rs 2,881.99 crore in Q1FY26 and an increase of 3.65% QoQ from Rs 2,948.54 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Revenue from Operations for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 3,034.69 crore, up 5.76% YoY from Rs 2,869.36 crore in Q1FY26 and up 3.75% QoQ from Rs 2,924.87 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Other Income in Q1FY27 was Rs 21.51 crore, compared to Rs 12.63 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 23.67 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q1FY27 reached Rs 36.26 crore, marking a significant growth of 38.08% YoY from Rs 26.26 crore in Q1FY26, but registered a decline of 29.74% QoQ from Rs 51.61 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Net Profit (attributable to owners of the parent) for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 34.87 crore, showing an increase of 31.39% YoY from Rs 26.54 crore in Q1FY26 and a decrease of 20.59% QoQ from Rs 43.91 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Total Comprehensive Income for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 33.93 crore, compared to Rs 24.45 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 45.60 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Earnings Per Equity Share (Basic) for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 20.79, compared to Rs 15.83 in Q1FY26 and Rs 26.18 in Q4FY26.

Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Total Income for Q1FY27 was Rs 2,761.08 crore, reflecting a 4.08% YoY growth from Rs 2,652.94 crore in Q1FY26 and a 4.12% QoQ increase from Rs 2,651.69 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Revenue from Operations in Q1FY27 stood at Rs 2,739.36 crore, up 3.75% YoY from Rs 2,640.42 crore in Q1FY26 and up 4.34% QoQ from Rs 2,625.40 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q1FY27 reached Rs 25.03 crore, an increase of 1.87% YoY from Rs 24.57 crore in Q1FY26, but a decline of 14.78% QoQ from Rs 29.37 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Net Profit for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 24.29 crore, showing a slight decline of 2.10% YoY from Rs 24.81 crore in Q1FY26 and an increase of 12.98% QoQ from Rs 21.50 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Total Comprehensive Income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 23.84 crore, compared to Rs 24.43 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 21.38 crore in Q4FY26.
  • Earnings Per Equity Share (Basic) for Q1FY27 was Rs 14.49, compared to Rs 14.80 in Q1FY26 and Rs 12.81 in Q4FY26.

Business Highlights:

  • Segment-wise Performance:
    • General Staffing: Revenue grew to Rs 2,796.50 crore in Q1FY27, up 4.77% YoY from Rs 2,669.29 crore in Q1FY26.
    • Specialised Staffing: Revenue stood at Rs 187.82 crore in Q1FY27, reflecting a growth of 21.21% YoY from Rs 154.96 crore in Q1FY26.
    • Other HR Services: Revenue was reported at Rs 50.37 crore in Q1FY27, up 11.66% YoY from Rs 45.11 crore in Q1FY26.
  • Buyback: The Company completed the buyback of 1,487,500 equity shares at a price of Rs 1,600 per share, for an aggregate amount of Rs 238 crore. The settlement was completed on July 21, 2026.
  • Client Momentum: Added 127 new enterprise client logos across all businesses during Q1FY27.
  • Headcount: The total headcount stood at 3,41,330 in Q1FY27, a 3% YoY decline from 3,51,000 in Q1FY26. This reflects the insourcing of approximately 23,000 associates by a large NBFC client in Q3FY26.
  • Portfolio Rationalisation: The Board has approved the exit from the Company's arrangement with Crystal HR & Security Solutions Private Limited (Wallet HR).
  • Specialised Staffing: The GCC (Global Capability Centre) segment contributed over 67% of segment revenue in Q1FY27.

Misc. Commercial Services company TeamLease Services announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Total Revenue for Q4FY26 stood at Rs. 2,948.54 crore, a decrease of 2.17% QoQ from Rs. 3,013.95 crore in Q3FY26, and an increase of 2.82% YoY from Rs. 2,867.65 crore in Q4FY25.
  • For the full year FY26, Consolidated Total Revenue reached Rs. 11,859.38 crore, growing 5.88% compared to Rs. 11,200.59 crore in FY25.
  • EBITDA for Q4FY26 was Rs. 46.0 crore, representing a growth of 8% QoQ and a decline of 4% YoY.
  • The EBITDA Margin for Q4FY26 was 1.5% compared to 1.4% in Q3FY26.
  • Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q4FY26 was Rs. 51.61 crore, showing an increase of 18.94% QoQ from Rs. 43.39 crore in Q3FY26 and 29.54% YoY from Rs. 39.84 crore in Q4FY25.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q4FY26 was Rs. 46.05 crore, an increase of 8.40% QoQ from Rs. 42.48 crore in Q3FY26 and 21.57% YoY from Rs. 37.88 crore in Q4FY25.
  • For the full year FY26, Net Profit stood at Rs. 141.38 crore, up 27.98% YoY from Rs. 110.47 crore in FY25.
  • Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Q4FY26 was Rs. 26.18, compared to Rs. 20.85 in Q4FY25. For FY26, the Basic EPS stood at Rs. 83.30.

Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Total Income for Q4FY26 was Rs. 2,651.69 crore, compared to Rs. 2,744.18 crore in Q3FY26 (down 3.37% QoQ) and Rs. 2,604.62 crore in Q4FY25 (up 1.81% YoY).
  • For the full year FY26, Standalone Total Income reached Rs. 10,810.77 crore compared to Rs. 10,292.84 crore in FY25.
  • Profit Before Tax for Q4FY26 stood at Rs. 22.95 crore, compared to Rs. 29.45 crore in Q3FY26 and Rs. 21.96 crore in Q4FY25.
  • Net Profit for Q4FY26 was Rs. 21.50 crore, compared to Rs. 29.81 crore in Q3FY26 and Rs. 20.94 crore in Q4FY25.
  • For the full year FY26, Standalone Net Profit was Rs. 97.23 crore, showing a slight increase from Rs. 96.10 crore in FY25.

Business Highlights:

  • Headcount: The total headcount stood at 3,40,600 as of March 31, 2026, marking a 2% QoQ increase. Approximately 6,000 net headcount additions were made during the quarter.
  • Segment Performance:
    • General Staffing: Revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs. 2,671.48 crore and Rs. 10,879.59 crore for FY26. The company added 14 new logos during the quarter.
    • Specialised Staffing: Revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs. 176.64 crore and Rs. 669.38 crore for FY26. The segment delivered 13% YoY growth in gross revenue.
    • Other HR Services: Revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs. 76.75 crore and Rs. 241.70 crore for FY26. EBITDA for HR Services grew 23% on a full-year basis.
  • Degree Apprenticeship (DA): Added 10 new client logos during the quarter. 30% of the total associate base has fully adopted integrated learning solutions.
  • New Client Momentum: Added 109 new enterprise client logos during the quarter. 24% of gross associates hired were first-time job seekers.
  • Cash and Refund: Received an Income Tax refund of Rs. 143.1 crore (including interest of Rs. 13 crore). Net free cash stands at Rs. 600 crore, with an outstanding TDS receivable of approximately Rs. 149 crore.
  • Share Buyback: The Board approved a proposal to buyback equity shares representing up to 8.87% of the total equity shares at a price of Rs. 1,600 per share, for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs. 238 crore.
  • Stock Appreciation Rights: During the year, 43,100 stock appreciation rights were forfeited, with an additional 104,100 forfeited subsequent to the year-end due to performance conditions not being met.

  • EBITDA: Rs 38 crore compared to Rs 33 crore during Q2FY25, change 15%.

We are confident of expanding the overall EBITDA for the year with continued focus on growth and operating leverage.”

Q4FY25 Financial Highlights:

  • At the group level, net impact of ~7k headcount on account of scheduled BFSI headcount attrition. As a result, revenue declined by 2% QoQ but overall maintained 20% topline growth for the year.
  • EBITDA grew by 37% QoQ, backed by catch up billing in Edtech and inorganic contribution.
  • Net cash stands at Rs 472 crore, including free cash of Rs 310 crore.

Other Highlights:

  • At the group level, the company added ~18k headcount during the quarter largely led by BFSI and Consumer. Revenue grew by 8% QoQ and 23% YoY.
  • EBITDA recovery is backed by operating leverage in Staffing business and growth in EdTech billing.
  • 178 new logos were added during the quarter.
  • Net cash stands at Rs 555 crore, including free cash of Rs 340 crore.
  • The company is investing in a HireTech platform which is expected to go live in FY26. The platform aims to bring down the hiring costs significantly in a phased manner.

  • At the group level, we added ~12,700 headcount during the quarter including the loss of ~6000 NEEM trainees. Revenue grew by 6% QoQ and 19% YoY.
  • EBITDA decline is because of the seasonality and delayed university billing in EdTech business and annual appraisal of core employees.
  • 187 new logos were added during the quarter.
  • We have received an Income Tax refund for AY 2023-24, amounting to Rs 115cr including interest of Rs 6.5 crore in Q1FY25.
  • Net cash stands at Rs.439 crore, including free cash of Rs.320 crore.
  • General Staffing:
    • Added net ~15,500 headcount in Q1FY25 taking the total billable headcount to ~2.82 lakhs.
    • Staffing revenue grew by 8% on QoQ backed by headcount growth across sectors.
    • Degree Apprenticeship (DA):
  • Net growth in trainee headcount, excluding the attrition of last lot of NEEM trainee loss of ~6,000 in Q1FY25. Growth is driven by NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program).
  • Specialized Staffing:
    • Headwinds in the IT industry continue to impact on the growth in specialized staffing. While there has been consistent growth in GCC clients, net headcount loss with IT services clients was noted in Q1FY25.

Coupled with the implementation of Labour Codes, we believe these initiatives will drive up formalisation and productivity of the workforce in the coming years. On the business front, Staffing has been maintaining a healthy volume growth consistently across quarters and across diversified portfolio of clients. With NEEM impact fully addressed, DA will become a contributor on profit growth and margin expansion. While the billing cycle in EdTech business has impacted the Q1 profitability, with the current signup of universities and students, we are confident of posting as substantial growth in both revenues and profitability of EdTech business this year.”

  • At the group level, we added ~10,000 headcount during the quarter. Revenue declined by 1% QoQ and EBITDA grew by 2%.
  • 110 new logos were added during the quarter.
  • Net cash stands at Rs 345 crore, including free cash of Rs 265 crore. Outstanding Income Tax receivable is Rs 264 crore.
  • General Staffing:
    • Added net ~44,000k headcount in FY24 taking the total billable headcount to ~2.67 lakhs.
    • Staffing revenue is flat on QoQ largely because of festive billings in Q3FY24.
  • Degree Apprenticeship (DA):
    • Trainee headcount growth is positive, net of NEEM loss, for the current quarter driven by NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program).
    • We expect the balance of NEEM trainees (~6k) to fully attrite by Q1FY25.
  • Specialized Staffing:
    • Headwinds in the IT industry continue to impact on the growth and profitability in specialized staffing
  • HR Services:
    • Revenue for the quarter grew by 36% and EBITDA by 41% owing to seasonality in the Edtech business.
    • On a full-year basis, revenue grew by 14% and EBITDA by 92% YoY

Ashok Reddy, Managing Director, TeamLease Services Limited commenting on the quarterly results said, “The volume growth momentum in Staffing is quite positive across FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Ecommerce, Telecom, and other emerging verticals. While we have had a slight setback on BFSI hiring for the past few months, the outlook from the second quarter of FY25 is shaping up well. DA business has now turned positive on headcount, net of exit of NEEM trainees.

We enter the year with growth momentum on revenue, but in the short run will have the business impact of salary hikes, full NEEM exit and seasonality of the EdTech business in Q1FY25 which will get adjusted in the second half of the year.”
