Q1FY27 Quarterly Result Announced for SBI Funds Management Ltd.

Asset Management company SBI Funds Management announced Q1FY27 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations in Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 11,527.29 million, reflecting a YoY growth of 15.16% compared to Rs 10,009.38 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 1.22% from Rs 11,388.48 million in Q4FY26.
  • Total income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 13,898.92 million, an increase of 4.64% YoY from Rs 13,282.62 million in Q1FY26 and a 27.18% increase QoQ from Rs 10,928.68 million in Q4FY26.
  • Other income in Q1FY27 was Rs 2,371.63 million, showing a YoY decrease of 27.54% from Rs 3,273.24 million in Q1FY26, but marking a significant recovery from a loss of Rs 459.80 million in Q4FY26.
  • Profit before tax for Q1FY27 reached Rs 11,454.16 million, up by 3.96% YoY from Rs 11,017.94 million in Q1FY26 and showing a growth of 33.52% QoQ compared to Rs 8,578.34 million in Q4FY26.
  • Net profit for the period in Q1FY27 was Rs 8,802.55 million, representing a YoY increase of 3.70% from Rs 8,488.38 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 38.74% from Rs 6,344.64 million in Q4FY26.
  • Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 was Rs 8,788.63 million, compared to Rs 8,486.99 million in Q1FY26 and Rs 6,375.07 million in Q4FY26.
  • Basic earnings per equity share (EPS) for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 4.32, compared to Rs 4.18 in Q1FY26 and Rs 3.11 in Q4FY26.

Standalone Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations in Q1FY27 reached Rs 11,486.75 million, showing a YoY growth of 15.17% from Rs 9,973.96 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 1.18% from Rs 11,352.86 million in Q4FY26.
  • Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 13,849.43 million, increasing by 4.54% YoY from Rs 13,247.53 million in Q1FY26 and by 26.14% QoQ from Rs 10,979.21 million in Q4FY26.
  • Other income for Q1FY27 was Rs 2,362.68 million, compared to Rs 3,273.57 million in Q1FY26 and a recovery from a loss of Rs 373.65 million in Q4FY26.
  • Profit before tax for Q1FY27 was Rs 11,430.75 million, up by 3.83% YoY compared to Rs 11,009.14 million in Q1FY26 and growing by 31.98% QoQ from Rs 8,660.87 million in Q4FY26.
  • Net profit for Q1FY27 was reported at Rs 8,728.06 million, a YoY growth of 3.29% against Rs 8,450.20 million in Q1FY26 and a QoQ growth of 36.50% from Rs 6,394.21 million in Q4FY26.
  • Total comprehensive income for Q1FY27 stood at Rs 8,715.99 million, compared to Rs 8,448.88 million in Q1FY26 and Rs 6,411.83 million in Q4FY26.
  • Basic EPS for Q1FY27 was Rs 4.29, up from Rs 4.16 in Q1FY26 and Rs 3.14 in Q4FY26.

Business Highlights:

  • IPO and Listing: The Company completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) through an Offer For Sale (OFS) and its equity shares were listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on 21-07-2026.
  • Subsidiary Investment: The Board approved a further investment in the share capital of its wholly owned subsidiary, SBI Funds International (IFSC) Limited, for an amount not exceeding Rs 25 crore via a Rights Issue.
  • Segment Performance: The Company operates in the business of providing asset management services to SBI Mutual Fund, Alternative Investment Funds, and portfolio management and advisory services to clients. The management noted that the primary segment is identified as asset management services and there is no separate reportable segment as per Ind AS 108.
  • Secretarial Auditor Appointment: M/s. N. L. Bhatia & Associates, Practicing Company Secretaries, have been appointed as the Secretarial Auditor for a period of five consecutive years from FY27 to FY31.
  • Special Rights and AOA Amendment: The Board approved the adoption of amended Articles of Association (AOA) to grant special rights to State Bank of India (SBI) and Amundi India Holding (AIH) following a Waiver Cum Amendment Agreement dated March 19, 2026. These rights include board nomination, committee nomination, and consultation rights for key appointments.
  • Bonus Issue Effect: The EPS figures for Q1FY26 have been adjusted to reflect the effect of the 3:1 bonus equity shares allotted by the Company on 19-12-2025.
