Roads & Highways company Ashoka Buildcon announced Q4FY26 & FY26 results

Consolidated Financial Highlights:

  • Total Income: For Q4FY26, the company reported a total income of Rs 1,99,233.35 Lakhs, representing a YoY decrease of 27.69% from Rs 2,75,541.59 Lakhs in Q4FY25 and a QoQ increase of 6.75% from Rs 1,86,634.74 Lakhs in Q3FY26.
  • Revenue from Operations: Stood at Rs 1,95,430.31 Lakhs in Q4FY26, a decrease of 27.47% YoY compared to Rs 2,69,441.62 Lakhs in Q4FY25, but an increase of 6.95% QoQ from Rs 1,82,733.33 Lakhs in Q3FY26.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): For Q4FY26, PAT was Rs 14,680.72 Lakhs, a YoY decrease of 67.49% from Rs 45,167.64 Lakhs in Q4FY25 and a significant QoQ decrease from Rs 2,11,140.63 Lakhs in Q3FY26 (which included a substantial exceptional gain).

  • Segment Revenue (FY26 Consolidated):
    • Construction & Contract: Rs 5,30,032.11 Lakhs.
    • BOT / Annuity Projects: Rs 1,98,445.75 Lakhs.
    • Sale of Goods: Rs 23,510.53 Lakhs.
  • Exceptional Items (Annual Consolidated): A net gain of Rs 2,14,367.03 Lakhs was recognized in FY26. This primarily included a net gain of Rs 2,14,892.09 Lakhs from the transfer of control in five Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) subsidiaries and five Build Operate Transfer (BOT) subsidiaries.
  • ACL Obligation Settlement: The company and its subsidiary, Viva Highways Ltd (VHL), acquired entire investments held by Macquarie SBI Infrastructure in Ashoka Concessions Limited (ACL). A balance obligation of Rs 9,532.28 Lakhs was credited to the statement of profit and loss as an exceptional item.
  • Asset Classification: Five remaining HAM subsidiaries and 100% stake in GVR Ashoka Chennai ORR Limited have been classified as "held for sale" as of March 31, 2026, due to a high probability of divestment completion.
  • Bihar CBI Matter: The company received a completion certificate from NHAI for the Bihar project under investigation. The management believes there will be no material impact, and a writ petition has been filed to quash allegations; the matter remains sub-judice.
  • Auditors: M/s SRBC & Co. LLP issued audit reports with an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated financial statements.
  • Labour Code Impact: The group recognized a financial impact of Rs 525.06 Lakhs in FY26 as an exceptional item related to past service costs for gratuity and leave encashment following the evaluation of new Labour Codes.
