BSE Launches Monthly Futures and Options Contracts on Focused Information Technology Index

The Bombay Stock Exchange has introduced monthly Futures and Options contracts on the BSE Focused Information Technology Index today (May 11th, 2026).

The move brings a new way for market participants to take exposure to India’s information technology sector through the derivatives segment. The index tracks 14 information technology companies from the BSE 500.

According to the exchange notice, 3 monthly contract series have been introduced from the launch date. These include May 2026, June 2026 and July 2026.
