News: Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) reported Q1FY27 consolidated revenue of ₹6,408 crore, up 4% YoY, while EBITDA increased 7% YoY to ₹562 crore, with EBITDA margin improving 26bps YoY to 8.8%, while PAT grew 46% YoY to ₹312 crore, with PAT margin expanding to 4.9% from 3.5%. Core revenue, excluding Road SPVs and Brazil, grew 9% YoY, led by T&D (+10%), B&F (+15%) and Oil & Gas (+18%), while Water declined 7% and Railways declined 23%. Order inflows stood at ₹7,668 crore YTD FY27, with another ₹7,300 crore of favourably placed/L1 orders, taking the order book to an all-time high of ₹66,607 crore.

View: KPIL delivered a steady Q1FY27, with core revenue growth and operating leverage supporting a healthy improvement in profitability. EBITDA grew 7% YoY to ₹562 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding 30bps YoY to 8.8%, while PAT increased 46% YoY to ₹312 crore. Balance-sheet performance also remained strong, with net debt declining 67% YoY to ₹917 crore and working capital days improving by 11 days YoY to 80 days.The ₹66,607 crore record order book, ₹7,668 crore YTD order inflows and ~₹7,300 crore L1/favourably placed orders provide strong revenue visibility. With continued traction in T&D and B&F, we expect sustained execution, operating leverage and further balance-sheet improvement to support earnings growth going forward.
