NIFTY SEPTEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 19,719.65, a premium of 3.20 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,716.45 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 51.75 points or 0.26% to settle at 19,716.45.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 3.57% to 11.59.

Reliance Industries (RIL), ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
