NIFTY SEPTEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 20,240.10, a premium of 47.75 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,192.35 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 89.25 points or 0.44% to settle at 20,192.35.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 3.66% to 10.90.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries (RIL) and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
