NIFTY SEPTEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 19,428.30, a premium of 174.5 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,253.80 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 93.65 points or 0.48% to settle at 19,253.80.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 2.22% to 12.06.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
