NIFTY SEPTEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty September 2022 futures closed at 17,678, a premium of 119.1 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,558.90 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange`s futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 82.97 lakh crore compared with Rs 283.38 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 36.45 points or 0.21% to settle at 17,558.90.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of the market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, dropped 6.92% to 18.22.
Reliance Industries (RIL), Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The September 2022 F&O contracts will expire on 29 September 2022.
