Nifty November futures trade at premium

The Nifty November 2023 futures closed at 20,143, a premium of 46.4 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,096.60 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 206.90 points or 1.04% to 20,096.60.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, surged 4.37% to 12.71.

Reliance Industries (RIL), HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The November 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 30 November 2023.
