Nifty November futures trade at premium

The Nifty November 2023 futures closed at 19,249.30, a premium of 116.05 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,133.25 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 144.10 points or 0.76% to settle at 19,133.25.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, slumped 8.07% to 11.08.

REC, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The November 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 30 November 2023.
