NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,300.45, a premium of 15.05 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 18,285.40 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 62.60 points or 0.34% to settle at 18,285.40.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, surged 4.02% to 13.11.
Adani Enterprises, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
