NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,332, a premium of 17.2 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 18,314.80 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 17.80 points or 0.1% to settle at 18,314.80.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 2.74% to 12.85.
HDFC Bank, Eicher Motors and Tata Motors were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
