NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 17,995.80, a premium of 80.75 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,915.05 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 101.45 points or 0.57% to settle at 17,915.05.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 1.95% to 11.43.
Reliance Industries (RIL), Infosys and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
