NIFTY MARCH FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty March 2023 futures closed at 17,165, a premium of 57.5 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,107.50 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange`s futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 247.18 lakh crore compared with Rs 173.77 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 119.10 points or 0.70% to settle at 17,107.50.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, slipped 5.77% to 15.0825.
Reliance Industries (RIL), ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The March 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 29 March 2023.
