NIFTY JULY FUTURES TRADE AT DISCOUNT

The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,967.10, a discount of 12.05 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 19,979.15 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 146 points or 0.74% to settle at 19,979.15.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.59% to 11.79.

HDFC Bank, Infosys and RIL were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
