NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,499.15, a premium of 35.65 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 21,441.35 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 91.95 points or 0.43% to 21,441.35.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 7.07% to 14.68.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Reliance Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
