NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,385.05, a premium of 35.65 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 21,349.40 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 94.35 points or 0.44% to 21,349.40.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 0.36% to 13.71.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
