NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,169.50, a premium of 19.35 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 21,150.15 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 302.95 points or 1.41% to 21,150.15.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 4.20% to 14.45.

Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
