NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,529, a premium of 75.9 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 21,453.10 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 34.45 points or 0.16% to 21,453.10.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 0.23% to 13.87.

Reliance Industries (RIL), Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
