NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,466, a premium of 47.35 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 21,418.65 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 fell 38 points or 0.18% to 21,418.65.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 5.88% to 13.90.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Reliance Industries and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
