NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,558.20, a premium of 109.10 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 101.55 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 jumped 273.95 points or 1.29% to 21,456.65.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 6.55% to 13.13.

HDFC Bank, Infosys and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
