NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,093.25, a premium of 123.85 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,969.40 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 68.25 points or 0.33% to 20,969.40.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.59% to 12.47.

GMR Airports Infrastructure, HDFC Bank and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
