NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,039.25, a premium of 138.1 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,901.15 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 36.55 points or 0.17% to 20,901.15.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, slumped 7.76% to 12.67.

Tata Power Company, Balrampur Chini Mills and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
