NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 20,806.20, a premium of 119.14 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,686.80 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 418.90 points or 2.07% to 20,686.80.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 4.92% to 12.99.

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and State Bank of India( SBI) and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
