NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,776, a premium of 6.75 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,769.25 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 25.85 points or 0.15% to settle at 17,769.25.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.26% to 11.52.

Reliance Industries (RIL), ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
