NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,767.55, a premium of 24.15 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,743.40 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 119.35 points or 0.68% to settle at 17,743.40.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 0.32% to 11.67.

ICICI Bank, RIL and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
