NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,709.10, a premium of 48.95 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,660.15 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 46.70 points or 0.26% to settle at 17,660.15.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.55% to 12.0750.

Reliance Industries (RIL), Infosys and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
