NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,884, a premium of 56 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,828 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 15.60 points or 0.09% to settle at 17,828.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 2.97% to 11.91.

Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and AU Small Finance Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
