NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,787, a premium of 64.7 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,722.30 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 98.25 points or 0.56% to settle at 17,722.30.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 2.42% to 11.98.

Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
