    What is the Daily Margin Statement? How to Read the Daily Margin Statement?

    The Daily Margin Statement is a report that details the margin requirements generated by your trading positions and the margin available in the form of funds, pledged securities, and other approved collateral. It provides transparency into margin calculations, peak and end-of-day obligations, and the resulting margin status of your account.

    How to Read the Daily Margin Statement?

    Margin required by Exchange/ CC Total Upfront Margin The total margin blocked by the exchanges for all open and unsettled positions
    Consolidated Represents the mark-to-margin (MTM) margin requirement arising from changes in the value of your positions

    Delivery Margin Margin applicable on FNO delivery positions
    Total Margin (EOD) Total margin at the end of the trading day, calculated as the sum of the applicable margin components
    Total Margin (PEAK) Peak margin is the highest upfront margin required by trading exchanges during a single trading day
    Margins Collected by I-Sec Total Margin Collected (EOD) The total margin available with the broker at the end of the trading day
    Total Margin Collected (PEAK) Total peak margin collected by the broker during the trading day
    Margin Balance at End of T Day  Excess/Shortfall against Exchange Requirement (EOD) Total Margin Collected (EOD) - Total Margin Required (EOD)
    Excess/Shortfall against Exchange Requirement (Peak) Total Margin Collected (PEAK) - Total Margin (PEAK)
    Additional Margin required by member as per RMS (EOD) Additional margin blocked by ISEC as buffer margin 
    Additional Value due to Haircut difference (EOD)  Additional haircut blocked by ISEC on SAM as buffer margin 
    Margin Status (Balance with Member / Due from Client) (EOD)

    This indicates net margin position at the end of day

    Balance with Member indicates surplus margin available with broker

    Due from Client indicates additional funds or collateral may be needed

    Margins available Funds (EOD Balance) Represents the available fund ledger balance at the end of the trading day
    Funds (Peak Balance) Represents the highest fund ledger balance during the trading day
    Value of Margin Pledge Securities (T-1) after haircut Value of Shares as Margin (SAM) after haircut as per exchange VAR haircut
    Bank Guarantee (FDR) Not applicable in ISEC
    Any other approved form of Margins* Value of early pay-in of shares
