As consideration for the demerger of the Iron Ore Business Undertaking, the Company has issued and allotted its 3,91,06,86,689 Equity Shares to the eligible shareholders of VEDL holding fully paid-up equity shares in the ratio of 1:1. 391,03,88,057 equity shares of Re 1/- each have been allotted by the Company pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement for Demerger.
