DATA PATTERNS TO BENEFIT FROM BRAHMOS MISSILES CONTRACT SIGNED BY GOVERNMENT
DATAPATTNS - 3003 Change: 72.50 (2.47 %)News: Ministry of Defence (MoD) has inked a contract with BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd (BAPL) for procurement of Next Generation Maritime Mobile Coastal Batteries (Long range) {NGMMCB (LR)} and BrahMos Missiles at an approximate cost of over Rs 1,700 crore under Buy (Indian) Category. The delivery of NGMMCBs is scheduled to commence from 2027. These systems will be equipped with supersonic BrahMos Missiles and will significantly enhance multi-directional maritime strike capability of Indian Navy
Views: Data Patterns plays a significant role in the supply chain of BrahMos missiles as it has been the sole supplier of key electronic sub-systems for the BrahMos missile programme for the past many years. These include fire control systems, launch control systems, RF seekers, missile calibration system, missile simulators and missile test systems. Recently, the company has also developed new check-out equipments for BrahMos missiles. The strong order backlog at Rs 1014 crore as of January 2023 end (2.3 x TTM revenues) and healthy order pipeline provides strong revenue visibility
