Carnelian Small Cap Fund - Regular (G)

The Scheme shall seek to generate long-term capital appreciation by predominantly investing in equity and equity-related instruments of small cap companies. As per SEBI categorization norms, small cap companies are those ranked 251st company onwards in terms of full market capitalization, and the Scheme shall invest a minimum of 65% of its total assets in such companies. The investment approach shall be based on a combination of top-down and bottom-up research. The Fund Manager will endeavour to identify businesses with sustainable competitive advantages, scalable business models, strong management quality, sound corporate governance practices, healthy balance sheets, and long-term earnings growth potential. The Scheme may invest across sectors and themes and will seek to construct a diversified portfolio of small cap companies that, in the opinion of the Fund Manager, are available at reasonable valuations relative to their growth prospects. The Fund Manager may also invest a portion of the Scheme`s assets in other equities, money market instruments and other securities as permitted by SEBI Regulations, with the objective of managing liquidity, portfolio risk, and taking advantage of market opportunities.
