NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,232, a premium of 50.25 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 18,181.75 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 slipped 104.75 points or 0.57% to settle at 18,181.75.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 1.41% to 13.11.
ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Jubilant FoodWorks were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
