NIFTY JUNE FUTURES AT PREMIUM; VIX FALLS 1.69%

The Nifty June 2022 futures closed at 16,601, a premium of 16.7 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 16,584.30 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange`s futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 52.93 lakh crore compared with Rs 203.37 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 43.70 points or 0.26% to settle at 16,584.30.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.69% to 19.9750.
Reliance Industries, Infosys and Ultratech Cement were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The June 2022 F&O contracts will expire on 30 June 2022.
