Nifty July futures trade at premium

The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,270.80, a premium of 81.75 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 19,189.05 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 216.95 points or 1.14% to settle at 19,189.05.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, declined 0.80% to 10.80.

Infosys, HDFC Bank and TCS were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
