NIFTY AUGUST FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty August 2023 futures closed at 19,314.55, a premium of 8.5 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,306.05 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 40.25 points or 0.21% to settle at 19,306.05.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 2.60% to 12.40.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The August 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 31 August 2023.
