Why am I being charged ₹99 for contract notes?

You are being charged ₹99+GST per contract note because you have either opted for physical contract notes or ICICI Direct was unable to deliver your electronic contract note via email to your registered email id—either due to an invalid email address or due to your mailbox size being full or due to any other reason beyond our control.

As per regulatory guidelines, whenever the delivery of electronic contract note fails, a physical contract note is required to be sent to your registered address as one of the prescribed modes. A delivery charge of ₹99 (plus applicable taxes) would be charged in your account if all the aforementioned cases. This charge is effective from 16th August, 2025.

To avoid these charges, please ensure your registered email is valid and has sufficient inbox space.
